Deal Alert: Sony Discounting 'PlayStation Hits' to $20

Sony plans to drop the price of select ‘PlayStation Hits’ to just $20, starting June 28 in the US. That should be good news for broke college students bored on summer break – or any gamer who likes a bargain.
Some of the most popular PlayStation 4 games from years past, like Bloodborne and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, are about to get more affordable.
Sony plans to drop the price of select “PlayStation Hits” to just $20, starting June 28 in the US. That should be good news for broke college students bored on summer break, or any gamer who likes a bargain.
Besides the two aforementioned games, the list of soon-to-be-discounted titles also includes Battlefield 4, Doom, Driveclub, Infamous Second Son, Killzone Shadow Fall, The Last of Us Remastered, LittleBigPlanet 3, Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience, Project Cars, Ratchet & Clank, Street Fighter V, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza 0.
The deals will be available in the PlayStation Store and via select retailers across the US. In stores, PlayStation Hits games will come in red packaging instead of the usual blue box so you can easily find them. In the PS Store, they’ll be marked with red banners.
“We’ll continue to add to the PlayStation Hits lineup, so stay tuned,” PlayStation Marketing VP Mary Yee wrote in a blog post .
Meanwhile, a new Steam tool first spotted by VentureBeat lets you see how much money you’ve spent on the platform—if you even want to know. If you’re curious how much you’ve dropped on games there, head here, sign in, and check the row that says “Total Spend.”
