Last week, we saw the first live images of the Honor Note 10 surface online, followed by hands-on images of the Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition. Some new live images of the upcoming Honor phablet have leaked online, although this time the images are in high-resolution, giving us a clearer look at the smartphone’s bezel-less design from the front.
The latest batch of Honor Note 10 live images show the Honor Note 10 along with a Nintendo switch gaming console. Unfortunately, however, these images only show the flagship phablet from the front. Like other 2018 flagship Huawei smartphones, the Honor Note 10 features a FullView display, so there isn’t much to see on the front apart from the large display. The bezels on the sides as well as at the top and bottom of the smartphone appear to be extremely thin. Honor Note 10’s large display also looks quite impressive in these images, with punchy colors and good brightness levels. Previously leaked images of the Honor Note 10 had shown that the phablet will include a vertical dual-camera setup on the back with a circular fingerprint sensor below the two sensors.
The Honor Note 10, according to rumors, will feature a 6.9-inch sized Super AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 or higher. Under the hood, just like the other flagship Huawei smartphones released in the last few months, the Honor Note 10 will be running on the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset. In the memory department as well, the upcoming phablet will be similar to most 2018 Huawei and Honor flagship devices with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. However, the Honor Note 10 may not offer support for memory expansion, just like the Honor 10.
On the back of the phablet is expected to be an AI dual-camera setup with 16MP and 24MP resolution sensors. For selfies and video calls, the Honor Note 10 might come equipped with a single 24MP resolution snapper on the front with AI-powered beauty mode and Face Unlock features. Connectivity-wise, the Honor Note 10 is expected to offer Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, 4G VoLTE, an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port. Keeping the lights on will be a whopping 6000mAh capacity battery with Super Charge fast charging technology. In terms of software, the Honor Note 10 is expected to run on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 out of the box with a host of AI-powered features.
The Honor Note 10 is expected to be unveiled in China at an event on the 26 th of this month. Along with the standard Honor Note 10, we also expect to see the Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition at the event. While global availability isn’t likely to be confirmed anytime soon, the Honor Note 10 is expected to make its way to the Indian market soon after its launch in China. We expect the Honor Note 10 to be priced somewhere around the Rs.40,000 mark in India.
