BRISTOL, N. H. (AP) — Police say a speeding Cadillac skidded out of control, hit an oncoming car and left one person dead.
WMUR-TV reports that a white Cadillac sedan was speeding and passing vehicles on Lake Street Friday evening when it rounded a corner and hit a GMC Yukon traveling in the other direction.
Police say they found one driver dead upon arrival while the other was taken to a Plymouth hospital.
Police say their initial investigation suggests speed and reckless driving helped lead to the crash. It’s unknown whether impairment also contributed to the crash.
Police did not release the deceased driver’s name while they notified next of kin.
