It’s high time Rita Ora takes a long hiatus from Instagram.
The pop star and Instagram sensation has over 13 million followers on the photo-sharing platform, and in my opinion, that’s 13 million too many.

Why, you might ask, is Rita Ora the absolute worst? Let me count the ways.
First, she may or may not have had an affair with Conor McGregor. And getting involved in a love triangle with one of the most lethal fighters on Earth — who also may have a bounty on his head — is NEVER a good idea.
She’s also ignited feuds with rappers, allegedly cheated on Rob Kardashian with “nearly 20 dudes,” and routinely makes garbage music.
But we’re all gathered here to talk about one thing: her Instagram.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. It’s very off-brand to rip an Instagram model on The Smoke Room. But she’s not your average gal.
I wouldn’t have as much of a problem with Rita if she kept her Instagram even marginally tasteful. But every day, I wake up to a new headline about “Rita Ora Dropping A Dizzying Nude Photo” or “Rita Ora Baring It All For The General Public” or “Rita Ora Only Wearing A Chainmail Tuxedo” and, quite frankly, I’ve had it up to here with this stuff.
The general rule I like my celebrities to go by is as follows: you either get famous by posting distasteful things and starting feuds with people more important than you (i.e. Lena Dunham, Michael Moore, David Hookstead) OR you shut up, be nice and look pretty (i.e. Kate Upton, Rachel McAdams, Hugh Jackman). You don’t get to do both.
So imagine my fury when I awoke to countless headlines hyping this photo:

She digs her claws in with the caption, “I didn’t think this first picture was appropriate for anyone to see but f**k it!”
But don’t fret. This isn’t Rita’s first offense. There are literally hundreds of posts like these that contribute to my daily migraines.

Just great. This is what we need. More terrible, talentless celebrities posting unapologetic self-hype drivel.
Rita Ora needs to take a long break from Instagram until she figures out which side of the celebrity coin she wants to be on. Because this is getting exhausting for all the brave and tireless entertainment reporters out here.
