Vivo Nex S is expected to come in two variants — 128GB and 256GB ROM. It was spotted by the online platform ‘MySmartPrice’ on Amazon India website with a price tag of Rs 48,990. According to the site, it is the price of lower variant that has been listed on Amazon.
The smartphone is likely to be called Nex in India instead of Nex S and the company may not launch the Vivo Nex A for now in India. The Vivo Nex S will be available for pre-orders on Amazon from 1 pm on July 19.
Vivo Nex S: Specifications
Key feature of the Vivo Nex S is the retractable front camera. The 8MP selfie shooter is hidden at the top edge of the handset and pops out when one wants to use it. The smartphone houses a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera with 4-axis OIS.
It comes with a 6.59-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display ultra bezel-less display. The handset is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio.
The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC processor and runs Android 8.1 Oreo based FunTouchOS 4.0 operating system. Vivo Nex S packs 8GB RAM and is powered by 4,000mAh battery.
Other features include in-display fingerprint scanner, Screen Soundcasting technology and Vivo’s own AI-powered smart assistant called Jovi.
