DETROIT, MI – One of the most decorated country music singers in recent decades has revealed she’s pregnant. She’s also announced a huge 2019 tour.
Carrie Underwood is bringing “The Cry Pretty Tour 360” to Little Caesars in Detroit on Thursday, October 31,2019 with special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June. The tour kicks off in Greensboro, NC on May 1,2019. Tickets, starting at $49.50, go on sale on Friday, August 17 at 10am.
Underwood plans to release her sixth studio album, “Cry Pretty,” on September 14,2018. On top of those two big announcements, the 35-year old revealed on Instagram she’s expecting her second baby with her husband Mike Fisher..
“You might be asking, Carrie, why are you starting the tour in May? Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another fish to our pond. Love you guys and will see you on the road in 2019.”
Her tour will head to 55 arenas across the U. S. and Canada and will feature a stage in the middle of the arena floor, creating a 360-degree setting to allow fans on all sides of the arena an intimate view of the concert.
“I love performing in the round,” says Underwood. “It’s so much fun for me and the band to play in every direction and creates a much more intimate and immersive experience for the audience, even in a larger arena setting.”

Underwood is a seven time Grammy Award winner. All five of her studio albums are certifed Platinum or multi-Platinum. All five of the American Idol winner’s albums also won an American Music Award as Favorite Country Album and stayed 40 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
Underwood is the first female artist to be twice named the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year. On top of her seven Grammy Awards, she’s won six CMA Awards, 17 CMT Music Awards and 12 American Music Awards.
