Video most likely published “accidentally” as well
And while the company pulled the page just like it was all just an unfortunate leak, here’s another “accident” also coming from Samsung New Zealand.
The video below is the official presentation of the Galaxy Note 9, and it was published earlier today, most likely projected to be removed as well in a couple of hours.
The clip shows the Note 9 in all its glory, confirming that the device will be very similar to its predecessor, though it will indeed feature some small changes on the back in the camera department.
The “leak” also confirms that the Note 9 will come with a 512GB storage version and will offer microSD card support to add an extra 1TB should you need more storage.
Th yellow pen is also showing up in this video, once again indicating that Samsung plans to offer the Note 9 with a special color combination that doesn’t match the appearance of the stylus. Most likely, the yellow pen will be sold exclusively on the 512GB version as a way to differentiate the top-of-the-range configuration from its more affordable models.
Hardware-wise, the Note 9 will come with nearly the same specs as the Galaxy S9, and will be powered by the same choice of two processors, including the Snapdragon 845. The general opinion is that the Note 9 is just a model that Samsung launches in order to buy more time until the Galaxy S10 sees daylight in early 2019.
Sales of Samsung’s flagships have declined lately despite the debut of the Galaxy S9, and given that new iPhones are just around the corner, the company tries to keep its device lineup fresh with the Note 9.
