„Where is Xur today?“ was once an easy-to-answer question. No longer is that the case. Bungie’s changes means finding the exact Destiny 2 Xur location can be nigh-on impossible without a considerable group effort or some luck. Still: here’s where Xur is this week, starting September 14.
If you’re ready to head out and pinpoint the Destiny 2 Xur location then you might want to hit the brakes. Not only has the matter of the actual Xur location considerably, there’s even a brand new Xur inventory for fans to be up in arms about. Where is Xur today, September 14, may still be the question on everyone’s mind but, post-Forsaken at least, things have changed… except the Xur start time, that is. Bungie has at least thrown us a bone by keeping that the same.
This week, the Xur location is on Earth, specifically north of Winding Cove in the EDZ. To find him, head north and make your way up the cliff-face to the circled location shown below and you’ll eventually find him perched on the rock next to a crashed ship.
He may have been a little harder to find, but it needn’t be a stress knowing when to find Xur. Every single week, both post and pre-Forsaken DLC, the answer is the same, no matter where you are in the world: 10:00 a.m. Pacific/1:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. BST.
There’s also no real rush in sifting through the Agent of the Nine’s wares. That’s because the Xur end date doesn’t roll around until September 18 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific/1:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. BST, exactly your days later. You’ve got the whole weekend and then some.
Those who have only recently been back to visit Xur may find something is missing. That’s right: the merchant no longer sells the Three of Coins consumable so you’re gonna have to go back to manual grinding for certain Exotics in certain cases.
