The Lions have dealt offensive tackle Corey Robinson to the Carolina Panthers. They will receive an undisclosed draft pick in return, replenishing their draft war chest after giving up a third-rounder in the trade up for Da’Shawn Hand this year.
Robinson, acquired in the seventh round of the 2015 draft, was the final pick of the Martin Mayhew era. Four seasons later, that draft class has just two players left: Running back Ameer Abdullah (second round) and defensive back Quandre Diggs (sixth round).
Laken Tomlinson (first round), Alex Carter (third), Gabe Wright (fourth), Michael Burton (fifth) and now Robinson are all out.
