Donald Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., took to Instagram over the weekend to mock the woman who has publicly accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her.
In the photo, Trump Jr. posted an elementary school love letter signed “Bret.” He captioned the picture “the Dems and their usual nonsense games really have him on the ropes now.”
Oh boy… the Dems and their usual nonsense games really have him on the ropes now. Finestein had the letter in July and saved it for the eve of his vote… honorable as always. I believe this is a copy for full transparency. ???????????????????????????? #politics #maga

Of course, Trump Jr.’s Instagram is often seen by some as little more than a parody account. He (a 40-year-old man) regularly posts selfies looking seriously into the camera and often videos of him lifting weights.
Sometimes, he even posts outrageous memes that double as love letters to his father in the Oval Office. Here’s a post from July 5 in which he calls his dad “Freedom Bae.”
Newly discovered footage of Freedom Bae!!! Just sprinkling a bit of freedom for all of us to enjoy this #independenceday weekend. Also continuing my quest to take out pop culture terms????????????????????????????????#trump #bae #freedom #fourthofjuly #4thofjuly

The woman who accused Kavanaugh, Christine Blasey Ford, says that the federal judge held her down and assaulted her when they were in high school. Though she quietly made the allegations known earlier in the summer, she didn’t publicly attach her name to the accusations until Sunday, when she spoke to the Washington Post.
In Ford’s account, Kavanaugh and a friend were both drunk when they pushed her into a room and held her down on a bed. As she tried to scream, Kavanaugh allegedly put his hand over her mouth to muffle her cries. She said that she has only spoken of the incident in conversations with therapists.
The Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have rallied together to try to delay the confirmation vote for Kavanaugh and a few Republicans, including Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), have expressed doubts about Kavanaugh’s nomination.
Kavanaugh was spotted going into the White House on Monday morning, but it is not clear who he was there to meet. Soon after, he released a statement flatly denying the accusations, writing that he is willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
