This includes a glass panel and a vertical triple-camera setup in the top left corner. Confirming previous expectations, the upcoming Galaxy A7 (2018) resembles the Galaxy A9 Start that debuted just before the beginning of summer in China. This means a that a rectangular vertical camera module can be found in the top left corner of the rear panel. Inside this module, the company has placed three rear cameras. This makes the Galaxy A7 (2018) the first Samsung -branded smartphone to include a triple-camera setup. The purpose of each sensor is still unknown, but one will presumably ship with a telephoto lens, thus helping with zooming and bokeh images. Elsewhere on the rear is a dual-tone LED flash.
Unlike most of Samsung’s recent smartphones, the rear glass panel will not be home to a fingerprint scanner. Instead, the Seoul-based company has moved it to the smartphone’s aluminum frame. On a separate note, while not pictured, the front of the smartphone is set to be adorned by one of Samsung’s Infinity Displays.
Currently, no pricing information has been revealed but sales should commence shortly after the announcement on October 11. Next month, on October 11, Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy A9 Pro (2018) which will arrive with four cameras on the rear and a Snapdragon 710 on the inside. Alongside this, the South Korean giant is set to announce a slightly cheaper Galaxy A7 (2018). And today, this device has become the subject of the latest leak.
