Activision and Treyarch have proudly announced that Black Ops 4 sales has generated 173% more revenue than their previous Black Ops 3.
Activision has proudly announced that Black Ops 4 sales managed to generate over $500 million in just three days after launch. Black Ops 4 has also made a new record for the total number of combined players on the current generation. It has beaten the previous records held by Black Ops 3 and Call Of Duty: WW2.
Black Ops 4 sales are still booming while more players are joining in the game. Black Ops 4 has set a record for most players online, average hours per player, total number of hours played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The combined number of Black Ops 4 players in all of the three game modes have topped last year’s Call Of Duty: WW2 and Black Ops 3. These modes include single player campaign, multiplayer modes, and zombies.
That’s not all as Activision has revealed that it’s also the most watched Call Of Duty game at launch on platforms like Twitch. BOPS 4 has managed to stay at #1 or #2 through the weekend on Twitch which has never been done before in the entire history of Call Of Duty franchise.
The game has also delivered the highest viewership based on minutes watched. Treyarch has already revealed that the game has marked Activision’s biggest day one sales ever. It has made another record by having the most number of digital sales on PlayStation 4.
It’s also the best selling digital game by Activision on the Xbox One. Blackout mode has also outperformed big games like Fortnite on Twitch to show that removing single-player campaign was not a bad decision after all.
You can start playing the game now on all platforms but you will have to download a massive update of 50 GB before you can jump into the battlefield. Treyarch is just getting started as there’s a lot of new things to come.
