The OnePlus 6T is all set to be unveiled on October 17, which is just a few weeks away. Even though OnePlus has just started teasing its upcoming smartphone officially, we brought you the exclusive renders of the OnePlus 6T and a 360-degree render video a few days ago that confirmed all the key design features of the smartphone. Now, we’re also bringing you the price list of all the OnePlus 6T official accessories for the European market.
The company has pretty much confirmed that its upcoming smartphone will lack a 3.5mm headphone jack, so it is releasing two new USB Type-C audio accessories: USB-C Bullets Earphones and USB-C to 3.5mm Jack Adapter Cable. The pricing of USB-C Bullets Earphones will remain similar to that of OnePlus Bullets (V2), at €19.95. The USB-C to 3.5mm adapter cable will be priced at €8.95, making them one of the cheapest headphone jack adapters in the market.
OnePlus will also release three bumper cases (Nylon, Ebony Wood, Karbon) and two protective cases (Sandstone and Karbon) for its upcoming smartphone. You can see European pricing for all official OnePlus 6T accessories in the image below.
The render images and the 360-degree render video come from trusted source @OnLeaks, who has a fantastic track record when it comes to leaking designs of unreleased devices. The OnePlus 6T renders confirm the presence of a waterdrop notch at the top of the display, similar to the OPPO R17 and F9 series smartphones. Thanks to the waterdrop notch design, we expect the OnePlus 6T to have a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio than the OnePlus 6 ( Review). On the back of the handset, we see a vertically-stacked dual-camera setup with a dual-LED flash module placed right below it.
As confirmed by a recent CNET report, the OnePlus 6T does not feature a fingerprint sensor at the rear. Instead, the upcoming flagship will feature an in-display fingerprint reader. Unfortunately, however, the OnePlus 6T will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 3.5mm headphone jack was recently voted by OnePlus 6 fans as their favourite feature of the smartphone, so this will certainly disappoint a large number of OnePlus fans. The positioning of the power, alert slider, and volume keys are largely unchanged compared to the OnePlus 6.
In terms of physical size, the OnePlus 6T measures 157.5×75.7×8.2mm. At its thickest point, i.e. the camera bump, the smartphone will be 8.6mm thick. These dimensions are roughly similar to those of the OPPO R17 Pro, confirming that the upcoming smartphone will have a display measuring around 6.4-inches diagonally. For reference, the OnePlus 6 measures 155.7×75.4×7.8mm. The thicker profile of the handset also hints at a slightly higher capacity battery under the hood ( rumoured to be 3700mAh).
To get an even better look at the upcoming OnePlus 6T’s design, watch the 360-degree video below.
Going by previous leaks, the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will be equipped with a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display featuring Full HD+ resolution (1080×2340 pixels) and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to the waterdrop notch at the top, OnePlus 6T is expected to boast a higher screen-to-body ratio when compared to the OnePlus 6. Protecting the display will be a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
In terms of performance, the OnePlus 6T will be more or less identical to the OnePlus 6. It will be powered by a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at 2.8 GHz and featuring the powerful Adreno 630 GPU. In terms of memory, we expect OnePlus to offer the 6T in three variants – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. In terms of software, the OnePlus 6T is likely to ship with Android 9.0 Pie-based OxygenOS out of the box.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera setup at the rear, similar to that of the OnePlus 6. At the front, there is expected to be an improved selfie camera. Connectivity features will include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ ac, Bluetooth 5.0 + Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, Dual 4G VoLTE, and a USB Type-C port. The phone could also feature a proper IP rating as well as wireless charging, but don’t hold your breath for these features.
Finally Finally.. #OnePlus6T
