Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A9 today which is world’s first smartphone with quadruple camera setup on the back. The device’s camera setup was leaked yesterday which showed four cameras on the back of the device.
The Galaxy A9 (2018) features a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and has 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Samsung has also added 128GB storage on board, which can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. The device comes with Android Oreo out of the box and we hope Samsung has planned to roll out Pie for the device in the near future. The highlight of the device is the four cameras on the back which includes a 24 MP main camera along with a 5 MP Depth camera lens, an 8 MP 120-degrees Ultra Wide lens and a 10 MP Telephoto lens for 2X optical zoom.
Samsung hasn’t revealed the price of the device yet but has confirmed that it will be available in selected markets starting November. Customers can pick up the device in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue, and Bubblegum Pink.
