Battlefield 5 PC is pretty well optimized. If you have fairly decent hardware then you will be able to run the game at 60 FPS 1080p. If you want to run the game at a higher resolution then you will need a relatively powerful graphics card. Let’s take a look at the requirements of the game so that you can compare it to your system.
The following is the hardware that you need to run the game. We have included the minimum and recommended hardware as well as the specs that you need in order to run the game with DXR.

Battlefield 5 Recommended Requirements With DXR
The following are the settings that you can play with in order to hit 60 FPS in Battlefield V:
Resolution
You can change the resolution if you are unable to get to 60 FPS. Keep in mind that reducing the resolution will make the game blurry. Your resolution should not be lower than the native resolution if you want a crisp and clear gaming experience.
DX12 Enabled
DX12 mode is not recommended at this point in time. It is possible that the game performs better when using this mode in the future but for now, we recommend that you disable this setting. When this setting is enabled, you will notice that the overall FPS will increase but you will get frame stuttering, which is something that you do not want. The trade-off is not worth it.
Resolution Scale/UI Scale
Both these settings should be left at the default in order to get a crisp and clear experience but if you are unable to get to 60 FPS in Battlefield V then you could reduce these to get additional performance.
Framerate Limiter
This will limit the FPS of the game. It is recommended that the limiter is set to a number higher than the refresh rate of your monitor but if you are facing issues then you should leave it at the refresh rate of your monitor.
GPU Memory Restriction
Disabling this setting will allow the game to take advantage of the graphics card. If your GPU has more than 2 GB VRAM then you should turn this setting off. But if you have an entry-level graphics card then you can leave this setting on.
Recommended Visual Quality Settings
If you want to get the best possible performance and are not interested in the visuals then you can turn all the settings to low and you will be fine. If you want a good balance of visuals and performance then you should follow the recommended settings below:
Texture Quality: Medium
Texture Filtering: Medium
Light Quality: Low
Effects Quality: Low
Mesh Quality: Medium
Terrain Quality: Medium
Undergrowth Quality: Low
Anti-aliasing Post: TAA Low
Ambient Occlusion: Off
There is going to be a pretty big patch on day one so stay tuned for that. If you have the digital version then you should be able to pre-load the game. If you have the physical disk then you will need to update it.
