Nov. 25 (UPI) — Two earthquakes at least 6.0 magnitude struck the eastern coast of Central America and western Iran near its border with Iraq within half a day, according to the U. S. Geological Survey.
A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Central America at 9:41 p.m. Central time Saturday, the USGA reported.
Thirteen hours later, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 hit the Middle East, 21.9 miles north-northeast of Sarpol-e Z̄ahab, Iran, and 39.
