A man died and a woman was injured in a collision in west Houston early Monday, police said.
The crash happened at 1:40 a.m., when the man was driving a black car southbound on Highway 6. He was T-boned by a woman driving a red car westbound on Westheimer, said Lt. Larry Crowson of the Houston Police Department.
One of the cars ran a red light, but it’s unclear which, Crowson said.
The man was taken to an area hospital, where he died. The woman was also taken to the hospital to be checked for injuries.
Police are also investigating whether the woman was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
