One day after news broke that Vernita Lee died at the age on 83 on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, the television mogul took to Instagram on Tuesday to thank fans and loved ones for their well wishes as she mourns the loss of her mother.
“Thank you all for your kind words and condolences regarding my mother Vernita Lee’s passing,” she wrote alongside a big family photo featuring Lee.
