Upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 processor’s alleged AnTuTu benchmark scores have been leaked online.
“The Snapdragon 8150 SoC will allegedly have an overall AnTuTu score of around 362,292″
Just yesterday, Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship Snapdragon 8150 chipset allegedly showed up on Geekbench. Now just few hours later, the new Snapdragon processor’s AnTuTu Benchmark 7 results have been leaked on the Chinese social networking website Weibo. If the leaked information is to be believed, the upcoming Qualcomm SoC’s purported overall AnTuTu benchmark 7 score will be higher than that of the Apple A12 Bionic chipset.
The leak suggests that the overall AnTuTu Benchmark 7 result of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 processor could in the region of 362,292. This is higher than Apple A12 Bionic’s score, which carries an overall performance of 352,405 points. Notably, on leaked benchmarks, the Snapdragon 8150 SoC is just behind Apple’s latest A12X Bionic processor.
Moving on to the other details, the leaked AnTuTu benchmark indicates that the Snapdragon 8150 could score 122,141 points for CPU performance, and 156,328 points for GPU performance. The UX performance is mentioned at 73,905 points, while the MEM performance is listed as 9,918 points. Compared with the Snapdragon 845 processor, the Snapdragon 8150 could offer nearly 32 percent higher CPU performance and around 22 percent better GPU performance, suggests the benchmarks. Overall, the Snapdragon 8150 is likely to offer close to 23 percent performance improvement.
According to the earlier reports, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 processor could be manufactured using TSMC’s latest 7nm fabrication process. The chipset is expected to flaunt a three-cluster CPU core design. Notably, Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 and Samsung’s newest Exynos 9820 SoCs also utilise the same design. The large performance core of the Snapdragon 8150 is rumoured to offer a clock speed of 2.84GHz. There could be three medium cores and four small efficiency cores, which are said to offer a clock speed of 2.4GHz and 1.78GHz. The SoC will be equipped with a more powerful Adreno 640 GPU. Notably, the Snapdragon 8150 processor could be packed with a built-in 5G modem.
Qualcomm is expected to introduce the Snapdragon 8150 processor at its Snapdragon Tech Summit event in Hawaii next month, so stay tuned to 91mobiles for regular details.
