Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 Pro India launch is slated to kick-off at 12 pm IST on November 22.
After a week of teasing, Xiaomi is all set to launch the much awaited Redmi Note 6 Pro in New Delhi on 22 November.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro unveiling event is slated to kick-off in the afternoon at 12:00 pm. The specification is already in the public domain, as it made the global debut way back in September in Thailand, but the only mystery is the price, that company will reveal it later today.
Like previous product programmes, Xiaomi has made arrangements to webcast the entire event for fans so that they catch live action on their smartphones or on PCs.
In Indonesia, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes in two configurations–3GB RAM+ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB storage–for IR (Indonesian Rupiah) 2899000 (approx. $196/€172/Rs 14,280) and IR 32,99,000 (approx. $223/€195/Rs 16,250), respectively.
We expect the price of the Redmi Note 6 Pro in India almost same as in Indonesia, Xiaomi assembles phones locally and need not have pay extra customs tax. They are likely to pass on the benefits to loyal consumers.
For the uninitiated, the new Redmi Note 6 Pro is a photography-centric phone. It comes with two cameras each on the front and the back.
On the front, it houses a feature-rich dual-camera – primary 20MP sensor with 1.8µm pixel size, F2.0 aperture and a secondary 2MP depth sensor. It supports Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered Portrait 2.0, Beautify 4.0 and Face unlock feature.
On the rear side, it comes with an equally impressive AI-backed 12MP sensor with dual pixel autofocus, 1.4µm pixel size, F1.9 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus) and a 5MP depth sensor with AI Scene Recognition, EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation).
Other stipulated features include 6.26-inch screen with 2.5D curved glass, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor, Adreno 509, Android Oreo- based MIUI, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage (expandable) and a 4,000mAh battery, which is more than enough to keep the phone running for one and half day respectively.
Interested readers, can head to Xiaomi India’s event page ( here) and watch the entire event on their smart devices. It will go live at 12:00 pm IST.
