Shortly after the Driftboard’s initial announcement, Fortnite developer Epic Games decides to pull the release of the vehicle and focus on QOL changes instead.
Earlier today, Fortnite developer Epic Games announced it would be adding yet another new vehicle–the Driftboard–in the forthcoming 7.10 update to the battle royale game. But in a quick turnaround, the developer has decided to delay the Driftboard, citing quality of life improvements taking precedence and polishing of the vehicle itself being necessary before its release.
Epic gave no indication as to when the Driftboard will be coming to the game now, though it is likely to be sooner rather than later. While the vehicle’s release has been pushed back, that’s not to say the entire 7.
