Detroit — Pelicans big man Anthony Davis had six points — and they still had enough to win.
The Pistons’ offense is struggling, the baskets aren’t coming easily and the wins are even harder to get.
The Pistons continued their freefall with a 116-108 loss to the Pelicans on Sunday afternoon at Little Caesars Arena. It’s their fourth straight loss, coming off a five-game win streak, and they’re back in action again Monday at Philadelphia.
Blake Griffin had 35 points and five rebounds, Andre Drummond 23 points and 19 rebounds, and Langston Galloway a season-high 24 points — two off his career high for the Pistons (13-11).
BOX SCORE: Pelicans 116, Pistons 108
Davis suffered an injury to his right hip in the first quarter on a collision with Griffin and was out until halftime. He wasn’t nearly as effective in the second half but played his regular minutes.
