The number of Resident Evil 2 remake Demo downloads surpassed one million over the weekend and as the game broke its own record for concurrent players, the remake could very well be in line to be the best-selling game in the entire Resident Evil series.
The Resident Evil 2 Remake Demo downloads count has already surpassed the one million mark, just four days after being released across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Despite that milestone, the number is a far cry from the reported figure of people that have actually finished the demo, with only 29 percent of players thought to have completed the entire demo. Still, the seismic number of downloads in such a short time has led to suggestions that the Resident Evil 2 Remake is set to be the fastest selling title in the series’ history.
