Samsung to launch Galaxy M smartphones in India to take back market share from Xiaomi

Xiaomi toppled Samsung to become the number one smartphone brand in India, but the Korean giant will launch its Galaxy M series of devices to take back the market from its Chinese rival and others.
Samsung is widely expected to launch its Galaxy S10 series on February 20, but the company has also set its sights on regaining lost market share in India. With Xiaomi becoming the largest smartphone brand in India during the Q2 2018 period and taking Samsung’s place according to IDC, the Korean giant will launch a new series aimed at the budget-friendly crowd under the Galaxy M banner.
According to Reuters, India will be the first region to gain access to the Galaxy M lineup, and there will be a total of three models.
