Speaking with Gamingbolt, Michael Patcher gave his opinion on Sony not attending E3 2019. According to Patcher, this is a one-off and a bad decision on Sony’s part.
He added that if Sony thinks the money they spend on E3 press conference is not worth it, then the company is wrong. He noted that Sony will be back at E3 2020 after it realizes its mistake.
The company skipping E3 is probably due to the fact that it has nothing new to show. PS4 is reaching the end of its life cycle and Sony has been showing the same games for a past couple of E3 conferences.
