Apple Blocks Google's Internal iOS Apps For Breaking Rules

Apple pulled the iOS enterprise developer certificates from Google a day after taking the same action against Facebook for violating the company’s rules on app distribution. However, Google says it expects to resolve the problems soon.
Apple has pulled the plug on Google’s ability to distribute internal iOS apps a day after the company did the same to Facebook.
The problem: both companies were misusing an Apple developer system to circulate a pair of iOS apps to consumers outside the official App Store — a violation of Apple’s policy. In response, Apple has reportedly revoked the enterprise certificates that allowed Google to skirt the rules.
«We’re working with Apple to fix a temporary disruption to some of our corporate iOS apps, which we expect will be resolved soon,» Google told PCMag on Thursday.
