LG G8 ThinQ to come with a 3D front camera for better selfies and 3D face unlock

The Time-of-Flight sensor in the LG G8 ThinQ will help in capturing better selfies and increasing the accuracy of its 3D face recognition system.
LG is tipped to announce two flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019, which is scheduled to take place between February 25 and February 28 in Barcelona. While the company has already confirmed that it will unveil its first 5G phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and 4,000mAh battery at the mobile mega fest, the LG G8 so far has mostly been a subject of rumours and speculations. But now, days ahead of its February 24 event in Barcelona, LG has confirmed that LG would indeed unveil its next G-series device– the LG G8 ThinQ — at the event.
The LG G8 ThinQ, which was previously tipped to called the LG G8, as the company has confirmed will come with a special Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor that will enable the phone not just to capture better selfies but also increase the accuracy of its 3D face recognition system.
