'Apex Legends' Just Hit 50 Million Players In Its Launch Month, Far Outpacing 'Fortnite'

Apex Legends has amassed more players more quickly than possibly any other game in history.

I knew that Apex Legends wasn’t done spitting out huge, impressive numbers after its meteoric success early last month, and today we have the biggest number to date. Respawn has revealed that in exactly a month since launch, Apex Legends has amassed 50 million players.
This is after hitting 1 million players in eight hours, 10 million in three days and 25 million in its first week. 50 million in a month shows the pace is finally slowing a bit, as if that matters at all with this record breaking playerbase accumulation.
Respawn released a rather excellent one month in video to announce this news which you can check out below that features some of the best community moments from the game so far, and jokes about how terrible the Mozambique is:

But this 50 million number really does need to be recognized for the absolutely stunning feat that it is. We don’t have a new concurrent number as best I can tell, though at 25 million it was 2 million concurrents, so it could be close to double that now.
