Destiny 2 players must say goodbye to the Prismatic Matrix, now that Bungie has announced plans to replace the system in season 6 with a more simplified one.
A while back, in an effort to give Destiny 2 players a bit more control, Bungie introduced the Prismatic Matrix to the Eververse in-game store. Not even a year later, the company has ended this experiment, deeming it more or less a failure. Players shouldn’t be too quick to mourn this loss, however, as Bungie is replacing it with something better that will give even more control back to players.
Season 6, Season of the Drifter, is right around the corner, and Bungie is preparing Destiny players with its most recent online report. In it, players will find details on Gambit Prime, a preview of new pinnacle weapons, and a brief explanation of what will be replacing the Prismatic Matrix.
