At the announcement of the Google Stadia game-streaming platform, id Software announces that its upcoming franchise installment, DOOM Eternal, will be on the service.
At GDC 2019, it was revealed that DOOM Eternal developer id Software has been working with Google on its gaming streaming and cross-integration service that will allow players to access games on any platform instantly, otherwise known as Google Stadia. It remains to be seen if this new platform becomes popular or not, but it comes with plenty of unique features such as streaming crowdplay, splitscreen with no performance drawbacks, cross-saves, and more. DOOM Eternal will find itself available on this platform when it launches.
