Acer today unveiled a new lineup of ConceptD desktops, laptops, convertibles, and monitors. The new Windows 10 PCs are aimed at creators with Nvidia’s RTX graphics, 9th-gen Intel CPUs, and more.
Acer held its Next@Acer event today in Brooklyn, where it announced a wide range of new PCs. Among them is the all-new ConceptD lineup, which is aimed at creators. The lineup includes desktops, laptops, convertibles, monitors, and even a VR headset.
The two desktops include the ConceptD 900 and ConceptD 500. The 900 offers a dual Intel Xeon Gold 6148 CPU, with 40 cores and 80 threads, and Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 graphics. Externally, it’s differentiated from the white ConceptD 500 with its matte black chassis. You can also configure it with up to 192GB RAM with its 12 slots.
The 500 only has four DDR4 DIMM slots, supporting up to 64GB RAM. You can get it with up to an Intel Core i9-9900K and Quadro RTX 4000 graphics.
The ConceptD 900 is coming to North America in May starting at $19.999, EMEA in June starting at €17,999, and China in December starting at ¥259,999. The ConceptD 500 is more budget-friendly, coming to North America in June starting at $1,699, EMEA in July starting at €2,799, and China in July starting at ¥20,999.
“With our new Creator Ready Drivers, the NVIDIA Quadro RTX series GPUs will help creators accelerate their workflows on Acer’s ConceptD PCs,” said Sandeep Gupte, Director of Professional Visualization marketing at NVIDIA Corp.
