In Game of Thrones’s season 8 episode 2, Jon Snow’s direwolf Ghost reappears after being missing for two seasons, and the bad news is that every single character basically ignored it. The good news is that social media didn’t.
Ghost, Jon Snow’s loyal direwolf, hasn’t been seen on Game of Thrones since the show’s sixth season. We last saw this very good boy keeping watch over Jon Snow’s corpse as everyone waited to see how long it would take for him to be brought back from death, and the fans have been waiting patiently for Ghost’s return ever since.
And tonight’s episode of the show gave those fans what they wanted. Kind of.
Ghost was certainly there, but no one else seemed to think it was a very big deal.
