“A rundown of all the tech ASUS showcased at Computex 2019”
Every year, dozens of laptop manufacturers fly to Taiwan to showcase their latest products at Computex, one of the biggest tech events in the world. Since the exhibition takes place in ASUS‘ backyard, the company puts its best foot forward and rarely ever ceases to amaze. This year is no different and at the company’s pre-Computex briefing, I got to check out all the goodies the company will be bringing to the market in 2019. So, without any further ado, here are the best laptops and accessories from ASUS that are being unveiled at Computex this year.
ASUS calls its latest ZenBook flagships “the laptops of tomorrow“, and I agree. Both, the ZenBook Duo and Pro Duo (first impressions) ship with two displays each, which opens a plethora of multitasking opportunities. The machines look great, feel luxurious and can easily hold a candle to mid-tier gaming laptops with their powerful innards.
The 15.6-inch variant can be outfitted with up to Intel’s Core i9 CPU and NVIDIA’s RTX 2060 graphics card, whereas the 14-inch model can be specced with team blue’s latest Core i7 chip and an NVIDIA MX250 GPU. Suffice it to say, the ZenBook Duo and the ZenBook Pro Duo offer beastly performance in a unique, handsome package.
The company also showcased the ZenBook 13,14 and 15, which look identical to last year’s laptops albeit ship with newer internals and a fancy touchpad which ASUS calls ScreenPad. As its moniker suggests, the ScreenPad doubles up as a touch screen and incorporates customized applications and utilities to better the overall user experience.
