IllFonic, the developer of Friday the 13th, is creating a brand new Predator-themed asymmetric multiplayer game recreating the action of the original film.
In a surprise announcement made during Thursday’s PlayStation State of Play live stream, an all-new Predator multiplayer game was revealed. Introducing Predator: Hunting Grounds, an asymmetric online multiplayer experience in development at Friday the 13th developer IllFonic Studios in partnership with Fox. And as a final surprise, Predator: Hunting Grounds appears to be a PlayStation exclusive, as it was announced as a Sony Worldwide Studios product. Excited fans can expect the game to launch in 2020.
The Predator: Hunting Grounds trailer did not feature gameplay footage, unfortunately. It instead focused on establishing the threat of a Predator on the hunt and a group of outmatched paramilitary soldiers with guns.
