What Microsoft Should Change About the Way You Uninstall Programs in Windows 10

A more consistent approach would be more than welcome
However, despite the “modern” approach, Microsoft just couldn’t give up on the legacy part of its operating system, at least not overnight, so Windows 10 ended up becoming a mix of the two with a focus that changed as the software giant revised its strategy.
While UWP apps have been Microsoft’s main focus in the last couple of years, the company now seems ready to return to Win32, more or less because the success of its modern apps isn’t necessarily something it can be proud of.
But the mix that Windows 10 has become also leads to a bunch of inconsistencies that users can notice across the operating system, and some of these do nothing more than to turn using certain features into a rather confusing experience that many would rather avoid.
Living proof is the way you can remove apps from a Windows 10 device.
As part of the Windows 10 overhaul, Microsoft is migrating all options from Control Panel to the modern Settings app, with the final goal of killing the classic Control Panel at some point.
