A Molotov cocktail was hurled through the window of an empty NYPD vehicle in Clinton Hill on Saturday morning, punctuating a night of violent George Floyd protests in Brooklyn, police sources said.
The makeshift explosive was thrown from a moving car around 1:20 a.m. and struck a police car parked outside of the 88th Precinct.
The car quickly fled the scene. But a car matching its description was stopped within a half-hour later near the Brooklyn Museum, the sources said.
