Pokémon Go’s annual gathering, Pokémon Go Fest, will take place online on July 25-26, Niantic and The Pokémon Company announced today.
Pokémon Go Fest, the annual fan gathering for Pokémon Go players, is on for 2020. This year’s event will take place entirely online and will be playable from home, developer Niantic and The Pokémon Company announced Wednesday.
Pokémon Go Fest 2020 will take place on July 25 and 26, and is described as “an all-new, completely reimagined global event in a virtual format.” Traditionally, Pokémon Go Fest has been held at physical locations, primarily in Chicago, but in 2019 Niantic expanded the festival to Yokohama, Japan and Dortmund, Germany.
