A Utah boy, aged five, was pulled over as he drove his family’s SUV to California, to “buy a Lamborghini.” To make the purchase once he got there, he was carrying the grand sum of $3.
After the child rowed with his mother, CNN reports, he took off in his parents’ car, before eventually being spotted by Utah police doing an estimated 48 kilometres per hour, veering around on the road to the point that cops thought they were pursuing a drunk driver.
Taking to Twitter to report the incident on Monday, Utah Highway Patrol said:
“One of our Troopers in Weber Co. initiated a traffic stop on what he thought was an impaired driver. Turns out it was this young man, age 5, somehow made his way up onto the freeway in his parents’ car.
