According to CD Projekt Red, the game is so big, the company still needs more time to iron out all the mechanics. ‚In the end, we hope you understand‘ why the release has been pushed to November, it says.

Cyberpunk 2077, perhaps the biggest PC gaming release this year, is sadly getting delayed again. Developer CD Projekt Red is pushing back the release date by two months, from Sept.17 to Nov.19. The reason: The game still needs more polish.
“We are fully aware that making such a decision costs us your trust and trading trust for additional times is one of the hardest decisions a game developer can make,” the company said in a tweet on Thursday. Tweet
This marks the second time the game has gotten delayed. In January, CD Projekt Red pushed back the original April release window to Sept.
