Six people have been arrested in France in connection the theft of a mural by British street artist Banksy that was stolen from Paris’ Bataclan concert hall in 2019 and later recovered in Italy earlier this month, sources told Reuters and AFP Saturday.
Street artist Banksy—who keeps their identity under lock and key—is known for their distinctive spray paint style and for their art popping up in unlikely places, from the West Bank to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
