This isn’t a massive update, but the patch notes to include some exciting new features, including one that fans have been asking for since the game released. That’s right; you can finally back up your island with cloud saving if you’re subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online. A few seasonal things have been added with the 1.4.0 update. There’s no major event occurring in-game, but players can get festive all the same with the new Fireworks Shows.
