Just before Crytek was supposed to unveil gameplay of Crysis Remastered, the studio has announced a change of plans, pushing back the reveal as well as the release date by a “few weeks”.
The Crysis Remastered reveal trailer that was supposed to go live today has been pulled, and the game’s July 23 release date will no longer be met. Much like the original announcement, the trailer, screenshots, and release date were leaked yesterday before official channels got the chance to unveil it, with the Microsoft Store being responsible this time.
Crytek made the surprising announcement today on its official Twitter page, stating that “Your passion for the Crysis franchise deserves an undeniably high-quality game, and we are committed to delivering just that.
