Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano joined “The Daily Briefing” Thursday to discuss the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein confidante Ghislaine Maxwell and break down the charges against her.
Maxwell, who was arrested Thursday morning in Bradford, N. H., is charged with conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, enticement of a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and two counts of perjury. She faces up to 35 years in prison if convicted of all charges.
“The maximum penalty [for the perjury and conspiracy charges] is five years [each] and the indication would be no time in jail,” Napolitano explained.
