Actor Abhishek Bachchan on Saturday announced that he had recovered from Covid-19 after testing negative for the coronavirus and would now be discharged from Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. He spent 29 days in hospital. “A promise is a promise!” the actor wrote on Twitter. “This afternoon I tested Covid-19 Negative!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. Thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. Thank you!” Amitabh Bachchan, who had also tested positive for Covid-19 along with Abhishek Bachchan, was discharged from the hospital after he recovered from the virus on August 2.
