Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear on Monday reported 376 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the commonwealth’s total number of coronavirus cases to 39,691. Fifty-four children under 18 have tested positive, Beshear said. There were five new deaths reported Monday, increasing Kentucky’s coronavirus death toll to 818. The number of people currently hospitalized is at 563, bringing total patients ever hospitalized in the state to 4,215.
