Nvidia is delaying the availability of the GeForce RTX 3070 by two weeks in order to prepare more units prior to its release and prevent the same fiasco that befell the RTX 3080 launch day.
Nvidia apologized last month when the GeForce RTX 3080 sold out almost immediately on launch day due to stock shortages. The company said at that time that demand for the graphics card was „overwhelming“ and that it was not prepared for it, resulting in major issues including website crashes for its retail partners and delays for customers.
