Raleigh, N.C. — Some afternoon showers are possible Saturday while areas northwest of the Triangle see some light snow. Dee McAuley sent WRAL News a photo of snow falling in Person County, and another viewer from Winston-Salem said a thin layer of white powder covered their trampoline. Before 11 a.m., the National Weather Service in Raleigh tweeted, “We’ve had reports of snow in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Roxboro, Lexington, and even a coating of snow in Star, as far south as Montgomery County.
