However, now a report has revealed the Xiaomi may not launch the Redmi K40 globally by the same name, it could be launched as a Poco Phone. The model number of the device was spotted with Poco branding on the certification site. As per a listing on Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) spotted by 91Mobiles, it was hinted that the phone with model number M2012K11AG will be launched as a Poco phone. The model number is associated with Redmi K40.
