Michigan basketball gets used to life in NCAA tournament bubble: 'I'm embracing the suck'

Michigan basketball is getting used to the bubble-like environment in Indianapolis.
Hunter Dickinson is 7-feet-2 and 255 pounds. So it was no surprise that he was somewhat disappointed by a recent breakfast of two strips of bacon, several spoonfuls of scrambled eggs and a handful of potatoes. Michigan basketball ‘s freshman center posted a photo of the sparse meal on his Instagram account with the caption, “An impeccable breakfast from the NCAA.” The light meal is just one of the quirks of the postseason that Dickinson and his teammates have had to get accustomed with. The NCAA tournament has built a bubble-like environment, with all 68 teams sequestered in Indianapolis. The Wolverines have been there longer than most teams, beginning with last week’s Big Ten tournament, also hosted in Indianapolis. Immediately after Selection Sunday, Michigan went through a round of testing and entered quarantine. They went through a second round of testing the next day and cleared that as well.
