The Philippines has vaccinated at least 292,000 frontline workers against the novel coranavirus, an official leading the inoculation strategy said on Friday, as he floated a possible directive to speed up the distribution of COVID-19 shots.
MANILA — The Philippines has vaccinated at least 292,000 frontline workers against the novel coronavirus, an official leading the inoculation strategy said on Friday, as he floated a possible directive to speed up the distribution of COVID-19 shots. A total of 292,677 frontliners have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccines, as of Thursday 6 PM, said Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the National Task Force Against COVID-19. The Philippines vaccinates an average of 23,000 to 30,000 daily, he said in a press briefing.
